I can understand why the first reviewer was disappointed with this product. You should never purchase any chandelier without physically seen and even touched the light fixture. It highly relies on the environment, furniture, size of room, height of ceiling, color, style of other decorations, and you cant easily change it once installed. You should order online only after doing all your homework and sure about the size and style of the light. This is not a fixture for a grand dining room for sure. This product fits better for a small dining area with not so high ceiling. The style serves a bridge between traditional and morden styles. I installed this in my breakfast area, with a 4ft round table under it. The area is about 7x10'. It was a humble and cozy corner, but this light turned it into a small show spot. Very bright light make the rest of the kitchen look renovated. The minimal height of this product is only 27", shorter than most other chandeliers, so it can fit into areas where people may need to walk under it. The quality is definitely not cheap but solid. Actually I just bought a second one for my relative's dining area and everybody was very happy with this. I also disagree on the comment that this one worth less than $50, sounds too emotional. I went to local lighting show rooms and found this one $250-$300, and ohter lights looked similar to this one priced about $100 higher. My formal dining room is 12x16', and this one certainly is too small and "cheap," and I got one quadrupled as expensive. but for a small to medium dinnette area, I am super happy with this light.
I was going to order it here but found somewhere else selling it for $162.
