Handle is heavy & nice, but it has a 1/4" opening which needs a plug and allows water inside the handle when showering. Called delta as I was sure the part had been forgotten in my shipment but they said no plug is provided. Surprised no one else has mentioned this, esp as when showering the open hole rotates to the top of the handle, making it inevitable that water will enter. The shower nipple was too short is light and flimsy compared with the part it was replacing, and the tub spout is plastic.
The good part re: tub spout is it can either screw on or go on with pressure. If I had to do again, I would just buy the handle, and would spend the extra amount needed to control both the amount of water flow and temperature. Didnt think I would miss this feature but I do. Would also buy chrome vs ss as its easier to match.
