I was remodeling my kitchen and really fought with whether these were worth the cost, and I am glad I bought them now that I see what they look like installed! The 18" medallion came with clips to mount it to the ceiling; the 12" medallion did not. To make it easy, I just used a tube of construction adhesive to glue them over the electrical box openings. See my customer photos to see how good it looks. Please note that this is not metal or wood, it's some sort of molded foam. It is very lightweight. The 5-light chandelier pictured is Uttermost 21007 Vetraio 5-Light Chandelier, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish.
