This is a great ceiling fixture. I got two of them to install in our hallways. I do like the round, lamp shade type of fixtures. Most of them have plastic lenses. The nice part about this is that the main globe is frosted glass. It gives it a more of an expensive look compared to the other ones I was looking at. The outer shade is plastic like but it filters the light great and looks wonderful.
