This is the quietest bathroom fan ever! The contractor who hooked it up didn't know what he was doing and it took us a consultation with an electrician friend and two calls to the manufacturer to get it wired right. We also had to remove the screen covering the vent outlet for it to run on the lowest setting constantly and we haven't yet seen any sign of any critters or insects moving in.

On the lowest setting you can't hear it at all and the highest setting is a quiet hum. What a change from the jet engine we used to have in there!
