Unique thread form removes exhaust while driving to reduce "mushrooming" in composite decking. Type-17 point for fast starts and 6-lobe drive bits included in both contractor and deck packs. Pre-drilling recommended near board ends to prevent splitting. Simpson offers their Decking Screws in either Deck Packs of 350-count or Contractor Packs of 1750-count. Deck Packs contain 350 screws or enough to fasten 100 square feet when using 6-inch nominal boards on 16-inch centers. I installed a Trex deck this summer using these Simpson fasteners (1800 of them!). Kind of pricey, but they are nice. There is no substitute for stainless steel if you plan for decades of use. And these fasteners are painted to match the decking material, really unnecessary, but a nice touch. The T-20 drive head is probably the most strip resistant head (but do pre-drill the decking material - it is worth it).

Installed 5 in my new kitchen. They look great. I did not go for the 50w MR-16 bulbs, used 35w instead and it's plenty enough saves energy and does not radiate as much heat. If you live in CA these fixtures are not Title 24 compliant, something to keep in mind when planning your remodel.

After comparing all the leading brands, we selected the Noritz due to the price / performance / reliability made it a good value. We had the unit professionally installed, which took one day. The total cost to us was $2,900 all in. We expect $1,000 back from the federal tax rebate.
The performance of the unit is quite good. Our old $50 gal unit was in the attic but this unit was installed outside near our AC units. I was a little concerned about how long it would take to move the hot water around the house. It is really not a big issue. It takes about a minute to get to the master bath, which is the furtherest point from the unit.
The water is hot and endless... nothing to do but enjoy!

KOHLER K-2839-1-KA Tides Lavatory, Black 'n Tan Review

I bought and installed two of these in my new bathroom. The quality was "almost" perfect - a slight flaw in one of the plastic overflow drain hole covers that is hardly noticable is my only quibble.

These are cast iron and solid as...well cast iron. Not gonna break. Do not drop on your toes. The finish enamelling was perfect. The swoopey sides and overall look are stunning and unique.

A couple of things I wish I knew before...

the mounting hole on the deck area is a bit too far forward for the faucets (Calise) that I bought. It took me a bit of time to get used to it all when washing my face. So I wish had bought faucets with less forward throw if you will. Easier said than done for me as I knew what "look" I wanted in a sleek single hand single hole faucet and everything I really liked was waaaaaay too pricey for me.
If I ran Kohler, I would move the hole back some, but still if you know this ahead of time make sure you like the way your faucets fit before you literally seal the deal.

Black sinks? Yes very chic in my color scheme ( I also got a matching K toilet in black) but they do show bits of toothpaste etc and to look chic, it means you must give them a wipe with a towel but hey, life could be alot harder than that.

Lastly, some other reviewer on Amz was complaining about how he could not get the drains to not leak and so just use some nice white silicone caulk on the plastic washer that comes with the drains you will need and get on with it all.
