This is an amazing valve; I'd put one in every shower if I could. When you first install it, you adjust the two extremes -- one for the coldest shower you'll ever take, and one for the hottest. You quickly learn what valve position gives you the temperature you want. After that, it's a matter of putting the valve lever in that position and turning on the water. Very quickly, the temperature comes up to the temperature you like and never wavers, even if your hot water supply is a little flaky.

Dinged one star because the valve is hella expensive. And Kohler gouges you on the trim piece and the handle. Next bathroom I renovate, I'm going to see if someone else makes a thermostatic valve at a more reasonable price.

I have had this unit now for 3 years and it has been flawless. The one side keeps food cold and the other keeps things frozen.

I've transported this fridge over some of the worst dirt trails in the back of a 1/4 ton military trailer and it's taken the abuse and keeps on working. I've had it in the back of my Grand Cherokee for a month long trip to the Arctic Circle and back making it possible to keep 2 weeks worth of food fresh and cold.

If you buy one of these you need to make sure you have it connected to your battery with a minimum of 10ga wire. It will not function via your cigarette lighter plugs. A dual battery set up which is what I have in my vehicles or in the case of my trailer a Blue Top Optima for power is the perfect set up.

I've even used this in my house to keep ice frozen or sodas cold for parties and it came in handy when my home fridge went bad while I waited for the new one to be delivered.

You wont be disappointed with this one!

I am using the JADO tub filler for an American Standard walk-in sit down tub for senior use. Tub fillers by other manufacturers require at least 4-5 holes to be drilled into the top flange of the tub and create a rather "cluttered" and intimidating appearance to seniors. The JADO tub filler has a clean look and offers seniors no problems for their hands to easily turn the faucet/spray on or off, since it is touch controlled. The installation of both the tub and this faucet requires a skilled plumber and an electrician. Power for the JADO faucet unit is by a 4 C-cell battery unit which allows for easy change. We love the unit, but to our dismay we discovered that American Standard had bought out JADO and decided recently to discontinue this tub faucet unit. This is simply an outstanding product, but it is too pricey for todays market (MSRP~$2200.00) and American Standard has its own line of tub filler faucets. As a consequence, I had no choice but to buy another JADO tub filler faucet to allow for parts replacement should a component of the JADO faucet fail. Fortunately, I found that AMAZON had 2 units available, but I note that both AMAZON and the retailer did not mention that the faucet was discontinued. In my case, it doesn't matter, but for someone else....
